company was started in 1981 by Paul, Ira and Glenn Barbakoff. The Barbakoff family
saw a need for a great tasting, naturally decaffeinated, real tea. Bromley Tea was
conceived to offer a great tasting tea to the millions of Americans who love tea
but cannot or do not want caffeine in their diet.

Bromley Tea expanded their line of products in 1997 with the introduction of their Estate
Tea. Many of the national brand teas had lowered the quality of their teas so Bromley Tea
decided the time was right to introduce a great tasting, English style tea at a fair price.
Bromley has since continued to expand their line of great tasting teas. It now includes
Green Tea, Decaffeinated Green Tea and Golden Chamomile.
